Every decision has its reason. So it’s important to know the reason for a change. If we do not realise the reason for a change, we might not be able to stand for the change. So it is my uttermost interest and intention to tell you the reasons to go natural.

No wonder our ability to adjust to a situation is amazing. Sometimes it makes us tolerant and helps us to avoid unwanted situations. But at the same time the same ability can take a toll from our life without letting us know. We might not be willing to get into such a situation where we just want to reverse the time to take control of the situation. But life is not a movie. Days passed away can not be reversed.

Anyone who has encountered Cancer in their family must be able to understand this situation what I’m talking about. We must be prepared for rainy days, because it might show you the worse road of your life. This article is neither commercially motivated nor sponsored. The sole reason to write this article is to open a point of debate and discussion about the reasons which are keys to divine life.

Going natural is not about to start buying organic food and start consuming it, going natural does not mean to buy natural personal care and other organic products for one usage. Going natural is a habit to stay healthy and let others to stay healthy. Living natural is a commitment towards the society that we live in. It is a full time responsibility that one has to fulfill every moment.

Life was different 100 years ago. People had a natural life & they could follow a natural lifestyle. Food was really ‘food’ & it is needless to discuss why it was so; our previous articles like “Time to unclutter your own existence” or “Are you fuelling your body with poison on a daily basis?” will give you much data to ponder.

What does a natural lifestyle mean? It is a life where all the necessities will come from the nature & human intervention will be minimum. People had this type of lifestyle before; their basic necessities were simple. The food was safe, personal care products used to come from herbs & the clothing was woven in handlooms only. Things started to change from the beginning of 20th century. The first plastic was invented in 1907 & its effects were started to be felt within some years. Nowadays we can feel the drastic hazardous effects of plastic in land, waterways & oceans. Plastic is just a major example. It is needless to say that there are many more major pollutants in the world except plastic; however this essay is not intended to discuss that.

So it is obvious why we should start a natural life. Now the question is how it will be possible. Adopting this type of lifestyle is not hard; just a mind setup is required. We can start with a very simple principle – 3 R policy – reduce, reuse & recycle of waste; a little planning is required to make this successful. Next comes the effects of toxic load in our life. We should identify them first & then only can reduce those effects from our life. We should practise & encourage others for ‘Environmental stewardship’ too. It is a responsible use and protection of the natural environment; however it is tough to do with an individual initiative, it needs a community support & responsibility.

Some easy & quick ways are there which we generally ignore. Let’s discuss them a little to move towards a natural lifestyle –

  • Try to eat organic food; if not possible or available intake unrefined food.
  • Avoid pre-packaged and processed foods to reduce toxic loads from your life.
  • A kitchen garden is one wonderful solution.
  • Drink plenty of water & if you are in a mood to drink juice, prepare it by yourself at home.
  • Spend time with nature, do morning walk. Enjoy the fresh air & feel the difference.
  • Try to avoid medicines. Use natural alternatives like herbs, essential oils etc.
  • Aloe-vera (plant of immortality according to ancient Egyptians) can be a healthy option.
  • Practice Yoga & Meditation to get more energy & concentration. It will also help you to reduce your stress levels.

Do your planning first. Don’t try to change everything from the very 1st day. Take one step at a time. Then it will be easy & you will be able to track your development. We are open for suggestion to make this article more precise and objective. Feel free to post your suggestion and we will share the same with others.
